Hand-crafted bags
Michele's journey in art has been long and varied. From acrylic painting to pottery and everything in between, she never would have imagined that now it’s all about birds and bags!
Photography has been a lifelong love, studying all genres. It's her love of nature and the Australian bush that has led her to a love of birds and a desire to capture the essence of these amazing creatures on film (digital that is). Together with her husband Gary, also an avid photographer, they have roamed Australia seeking the perfect opportunity to see and photograph as many of our 700+ native birds as they can. Living in McLaren Vale at the edge of the Onkaparinga River National Park, with fairy wrens at the back door and Wedge-tailed Eagles soaring above life is good.
Although, Michele's main passion is nature photography when she is not in the bush photographing Australian birds and animals, she is at her sewing machine designing hand-crafted bags. To create a functional, stylish bag for a customer is a joy and a privilege. Her bags are made using leather, vinyl or fabric, they are fully lined and use the best hardware possible for strength and durability.
