Cate is a self taught alcohol ink artist who's journey started two years ago when she unexpectedly had to retire from a 40 year Nursing career.  Always being creative she set herself a challenge to learn a new skill.  Her creative process involves using synthetic paper and an air source to move the ink around.

Working with this medium allows Cate to embrace spontaneity letting the inks move and blend together.  She loves to watch the colours dance and collide.

Cate creates florals and marine inspired pieces that bring joy, serenity and a touch of magic to everyday spaces.
