Lynette Kring
Mixed Media Artist
Lynette Kring has a very eclectic style and her colourful, quirky art is in direct response to her fun loving personality and her love of nature. She is self-taught but with many years of artistic experience, and by experimenting with different media she creates works of art that have won awards and have also been published in books.

Upcycling everyday objects is also a passion of Lynette. She will upcycle mannequins, saws, boards, wooden carvings (to name a few) to use in her art. Her largest piece is a Dragonfly made from salvaged posts and ceiling fan blades.

Lynette lives on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula and her art and cards are on display at various locations in the region. The joy of art certainly runs in the family and with her mum (now passed) and her sister they have been creating art together for many years.

Most of Lynette’s art is inspired by nature in its various forms. She likes to experiment with different mediums and textures including metal leaf which is used in a lot on her outdoor pieces.

Lynette is a firm believer in spreading one’s Art around even in the most unlikely of places. She says “if only one person stops to look or even better, if it brings a smile to their day, then I have achieved something”. Art should always be shared.
