Willunga Arts Collective
As a collective of artists sharing this amazing space we don't employ staff to work in the shop, we do it ourselves! This saves on overheads, therefore keeping the cost of our art very affordable. If you see a work of art on the website that you would like more information about, please contact us using the form on the CONTACT page.

Most of the artists live on the Fleurieu Peninsula and surrounding regions. We are proud of the artistic and historical connection that Willunga has, and our friendly artists are happy to help and advise visitors about the region. The gallery also has pamphlets and maps for tourists to browse and take with them.
Willunga, McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula are renowned for their arts, wineries, amazing restaurants and fresh produce. The award-winning Willunga Farmer's Market is a must to visit and is open every Saturday morning from 8am - 12 noon. All of these attractions are right at our doorstep, what more could a visitor ask for!
a bit of history...
The collective was formed in 2005 by a group of local artists. We began as a small gallery, also located on High St, called 'Off the Slate Gallery'. Some of the original artists are still a part of the collective today.
In time, and when we were looking for bigger premises, Glenn Howlett of the 'Glass Studio' invited the collective to share his much larger space. This has been a fabulous collaboration for all the artists, and within a couple of years the art collective expanded their space even more.
In 2026 we decided to rename to 'Willunga Arts Collective'. The new name reflects the true nature of who we are and what we do. After a face-lift to the front and inside of the building, we are delighted to greet you when you visit beautiful historical Willunga and our exciting new gallery!
